Our History

Stone House Counseling was formed in 1995 in the Old Stone House in Winooski. After 10 great years of providing professional mental health care services to all of our clients and building a reputation of excellence with all of our referral sources, a group of us have moved to  larger more modern offices in South Burlington. With combined experience of over 60 years, our tradition of providing a safe and trusted source for mental health care has not changed.

We enjoyed our time at the Old Stone House in Winooski and will not soon forget the beautiful building with the rich history that we called home for 10  years.

On November 1, 2005 we moved into our new offices at the Dorset St. Professional Center in South Burlington, VT. We chose this central location to continue serving our existing clients and also because we needed the additional space to grow.  Our new office is easy to find and very conveniently located too.  We have more offices, better parking and improved business services for our providers. We look forward to continuing to serve all of our clients and providing a professional atmosphere for all of us to work in.
